P&R
PASSWORDS & RECORDS

Find your password in seconds.

Secure and straightforward to use password manager.

With Records App, you get:

  • Instant access to your records with Face ID or Touch ID

  • Encrypted digital storage in Apple Keychain

  • Unlimited number of records in your digital vault

  • Fast search by name

  • Editing records

  • Sorting by name

  • Sorting by the last date records were changed

DESCRIPTION

  • FaceID/ TouchID authorisation is required every time to open the application. If the recognition fails, a device password could be used instead.

  • Each time the application is placed into the background, the main screen locks.

  • The following information can be added to a new record: name, brief description, login, password, note/comment.

  • There are two timestamps added at the time the new record is created: the “First created” stamp and the “Last modified” stamp. The former shows the date & time the record was originally created, the latter shows the most recent date the record was changed. If there were no actual changes made upon editing, the last modified date remains unchanged.

  • There is no unique name check, so multiple records with the same name are allowed. Adding data to any of the fields will make the record unique.

  • Record name (title) is the only compulsory field, trying to save the new empty record results in an alert.

MAIN SCREEN

  • The list of saved records appears on opening the application.

  • Search can be activated by either tapping a magnifying glass in a lower right corner of the screen in a toolbar or by scrolling to the top of the screen.

  • Swipe over a cell to activate the Delete option. A second swipe or a tap on “Delete” will erase the record.

  • Sort button is in a lower left corner of the screen inside the toolbar. Tapping on the icon is activating the increasing sort and changing the icon, the second tap is reversing the sort.

  • Name/Date toggle at the bottom of the screen helps to switch between sorting by name and sorting by the last date records were modified. The toggle is set to name by default.

  • Total number of records is displayed below the toggle. If the number of records exceeds the screen capacity, this text will only appear at the bottom of the list.

  • Each cell displays the following information: the name, the description, and the last edit date.

  • Scroll the cells up and down the screen. Tap on a cell to view the full record.

ADD A NEW RECORD

  • Tap the “+” button in a lower right corner of the screen to create a new record.

  • A new empty card will appear with the empty fields.

  • A card can be scrolled up and down to view the area covered by the virtual keyboard.

  • Voice Control can be used to fill out the fields.

  • The following information can be added: name, description, login, password, comment/note.

  • “Name” is the only compulsory field. Failure to provide the name will result in an alert. There is no name check, though. Multiple records can exist sharing the same name.

  • Emojis are allowed in all fields except for the “Name” field. Any attempt to add one to the name will be ignored.

  • Timestamp “First Created” is generated at the time the record was created. It can be found at the bottom of the record card.

  • Timestamp “Last Modified” is created along with the previous timestamp. Unlike the previous stamp it gets updated every time the changes were made. Editing the card without saving any changes will not be updating the stamp.

  • Tap the “Save” button at the top of the keyboard to create a new record and exit the editing view.

  • Tap the “Back” navigation button at the top of the screen to return to the main screen without saving any changes.

  • Tap the “Cancel” button at the top of the keyboard to return to the main screen without saving any changes.
